The Wise King

1-.Paraphase the text shortly 

There was a time in the distant city of Wirani, a king who ruled his subjects with as much power as wisdom. And he feared for his power, and they loved him for his wisdom.
There was also the heart of the city a well of cool, clear water of drinking all  inhabitants, even the king and his courtiers, he was the only well in the city. One night when all was quiet, a witch entered the city and poisoned the water and said :"From now on, who drinks this water will go crazy”. The next morning, everyone in the kingdom, except the king and his lord chamberlain, drank from well and went wild as the witch had foretold. And that day, the streets and in the market, people did nothing but whisper: "The king is mad. Our king and his lord chamberlain lost their reason. We can not allow ourselves ruled by a mad king, we must dethrone him. That night, the king ordered them to fill with water from the well a golden cup. And when the carried, the sovereign and eagerly drank the cup to his lord chamberlain, that would drink. And there was great rejoicing in the distant city of Wirani, because the king and the Grand Chamberlain had regained his reason.

Imitative theory because only told an event. 

3.- What is the connotative senses of the text? (one sentence)

Sometimes the political people lost the reason and don´t hear the town and everybody thinks that are mad.
